Throughout the year we have a number of visits and events which may be of interest to you.
We usually have a table at the Marshfield May Day and a presence at the Marshfield Village Day in August.
We have members who like to enter competitions to challange their interpretation and skills. The competitions take place across the area so if you are keen to get involved please let one of our commitee know.
The Flower Arranger and the South West Area News are two publications which both give information on events happening nationally and locally along with ideas and inspiration for the floral enthusiast. Both publications are available by subscription through the club.

13/05/2025 - The Spirit of Water Flower Festival - Salisbury
The Salisbury Cathedral 2025 Flower Festival 'The Spirit of Water', is a companion piece to the Cathedral’s summer art exhibition, Living Water. Just as our exhibition explores the power of water, its ability to hold memories and shape the identity of a place, our Festival also takes its inspiration from water in all its different forms. We will install a huge array of arrangements – from displays representing ‘a world without water’, to a journey along a ‘river of flowers’ and a display depicting the seabed which will include hundreds of fish made by local community groups.

29/05/2025 - Royal Bath and West Show
This great agricultural show includes floral competitions for members of NAFAS along with a lot more displays and activities. The show is on from the 29th May to 31st May 2025. Schedules are available so if you want to have a go download the class details and sign up to enter by May 1st 2025, good luck!

20/06/2025 - SW Area Council Meeting
The summer Council Meeting to be held at Conygre Hall, Timsbury. As a club we have two representatives attending but any member is welcome to attend and catch up on all the area and national NAFAS activities. We do display the minutes of the meeting on our notice board but if you would like you own copy please do contact our club chairman.

19/09/2025 - 'Natures Challenge' - NAFAS National Show - 2025
The NAFAS National Show is to be held at Gloucester Cathedral on the 19th and 20th September 2025. Competitors applications are to be received between 1st - 15th April 2025 via the website. Tickets for the event are now available, One Day Ticket: £30, two day ticket: £50.

15/11/2025 - SW Area AGM 2025
The Area AGM with take place at Conygre Hall, Timsbury and will go through the year's business. There will be trade tables, competitions and a demonstration in the afternoon.
