Workshops

Through the year we run a variety of workshops and work hard on the subject matter to inspire enthusiasm!

For those who have not attended a class before - please bring scissors for cutting your plant material, container, oasis (if using - this can be bought at the club or from a local garden centres/florists) and the plant material of choice (flowers and foliage) plus a plastic cover for the table (a large bin liner is sufficient) and the class fee, members £4, non-members £5. Beginners are always welcome to join our workshops.

The workshops start at 7pm unless otherwise advised and are open to all, you do not have to be a member of the club to take part. So, if you find yourself with free time on the evening of the first Wednesday of the month come along and join us, you will be most welcome.

  • 02/02/2022 - Basket Work

    Start of the year get together and workshop looking forward to seeing you there for a fun evening. Beginners are welcome.

  • 26/02/2022 - 'Flower Power'

    Saturday workshop - 10.00 - 16.00 - A taster day for beginners introducing the "Elements and Principals" of design (E&P). Design will be based on a posy for the middle of the table or a handtied gift to place in a vase. If you have never participated in Flower arranging but would like to have a go then for 30.00 (with everything supplied), you can book onto our taster day - make a beautiful arrangement for a table and a handtied bouquet wrapped and packed as a lovely personal present for any occasion. No experience required, back to basics
